DOLLY is creating...

As the designer of DOLLY I'm always on the look out for inspiration and things that move me. I also love the latest trends around in the graphics world like Ai is concurring the world at the moment and how its creating fascinating images and videos, which I think is great when used in the correct way. The possibilities are just endless. How magical is that. However, on the other hand, growing up in an artistic and classic environment ( gen X) I like 'old fashioned' and hand made at the same time as well. Maybe even more now with Ai around. Created and made by hand is even more special now in the current Ai era. Actual painting with a brush really is WYSIWYG ‘what you see is what you get’

As a child I always drew and painted a lot and later even more when I went to fashion school. I liked drawing fashion sketches and model drawing even more than designing or making fashion. I love how my icon Karl Lagerfeld has his certain signature style in his fashion sketches so at fashion school my own signature style emerged as well.  

For the last decade I recide a few months a year in my home away from home in Andalusia in the south of Spain and have a head full of ideas ready to create. I bought myself some new sets of paint brushes and started painting and creating characters and a world around DOLLY for my DOLLY brand. New DOLLY products will emerge and DOLLY's world will grow. Products I adored as a very young child and where my own imagination started...
